Late Show with Gleasons Drift and Hockersville Station

  • 1219 Research Boulevard Hummelstown, PA, 17036 (map)

Gleasons Drift is back again with Hockersville Station on stage in the Listening Room! They put on a fantastic show last time they performed together—you won’t want to miss this.

Gleasons Drift
Just as The Replacements will be forever linked to Minneapolis or The Meat Puppets to the Southwest Desert, Gleasons Drift is intrinsically defined by a small-town, rough-hewn esthetic filtered through a transistor radio channeling 1970s rock from an all-night far-off Philadelphia radio station. Their love of unblemished bar-band optimism smashed headlong into twelve-bar blues and country feels right at home next to coal region Pennsylvania’s best-known exports – beer, pierogies, polkas and boilo.

Hockersville Station
Like Frankenstein, Hockersville Station was formed from the good parts of other bands to create a semi-scary, but lovable entity. The band has its own distinct sound thanks to the vocals and guitar of Mike Gingrich, and the classical-influenced violin from Lina Yang. They lean heavy on the Alt-Country influences of Jason Isbell, The Jayhawks, The Old 97’s and The Decemberists.

Reservations recommended for the Listening Room
You can now make a reservation and as always, we will still have tables available for walk-in guests.
