Joywave is an American indie rock band from Rochester, New York, formed in 2010. Their lineup consists of Daniel Armbruster (vocals), Joseph Morinelli (guitar), and Paul Brenner (drums).

The band first became known for its collaboration with electronic music project Big Data, “Dangerous”, which peaked at number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in 2014. After releasing two EPs, their debut album, How Do You Feel Now?, was released through their own Cultco Music label, an imprint of Hollywood Records, in 2015. Their second album, Content, was released on July 28, 2017. It was followed by their third album, Possession, which was released on March 13, 2020 and finally Every Window Is A Mirror on the June 25, 2021.

Floor offers an up close view from the floor of the Listening Room, and the mezzanine offers a spot overlooking the floor.

Grab food before the show:
When you buy tickets, make your reservation for dinner before the show in the Englewood Brewing tavern or covered patio—tables book up fast! We do have spots for walk-in guests at 2 bars in the tavern, and on the beer garden patio in the summer.

Important COVID policy added by Harrisburg University Presents and the Joywave team:

We are doing all we can to keep the Joywave team and the venue staff safe and healthy so they can continue their tour. With that in mind, please note the following policy:

  • Proof of vaccination with ID (original vaccination card or front and back photo) and at least two weeks have passed since the final dose

  • Alternately, if unvaccinated, provide proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test (PCR or antigen) within 72 hours of the event and present to security prior to entry. No at home tests

  • The Englewood will not have rapid testing onsite
