This Sunday’s show will be with The BONES OF CONTENTION with the Steve Rudolph Trio!

The BONES OF CONTENTION is a dynamic trombone trio in the tradition of Kai Winding’s group from the 1950’s and 1960’s.  Originally organized by Berks County arranger and trombonist Robert “Doc” Mulligan, the ensemble has performed at many notable venues including Gerald Veasley’s Jazz Base, the Central PA Jazz Festival and the Berks Jazz Festival.  Accompanied by acclaimed pianist Steve Rudolph and an all-star rhythm section, current leader Chuck Dressler directs the band through a varied selection of jazz and bebop standards and ballads.  Trombonists Rob Stonebeck and Adma Machaskee join Chuck for a concert filled with joy, passion and virtuosity.  The Bones of Contention is a unique and fun-filled musical experience for sophisticated listeners of all generations.
