Join us for Wes Hoke on stage for the first time at The Englewood.
Wes is a Singer/Songwriter from Central PA that blends a variety of different musical styles into his diverse, but unique sounding original music. Most tunes are written on the acoustic guitar pulling from everything from folk to funk, blues to bluegrass, jazz to jam, and pop to rock.
His band, The Bare Roots Band (formerly Root 74) takes those original songs and a huge variety of covers from all genres and time periods and turns them into an energetic, eclectic, and electric live show with plenty of improvisation and nonstop funky fun. Wes has been writing songs and playing guitar in local venues for almost 30 years and definitely has refined his craft with a songbook of almost 100 originals and over 100 covers.
