You could call Cody Tyler “red dirt country,” but the rocky soil in coal country and the rust belt, where his family has been rooted for centuries, is a few shades darker. The songs on his debut album are the product of Cody's musings while hunting deep in the Pennsylvania wilderness. At just 27 years old, his musical journey has barely begun, but his yearning to travel the open road with his songs written from his tree stand have already taken him across the United States from Maui to Vermont as a solo artist.
Drawing heavy influence from the likes of Waylon Jennings, The Allman Brothers Band, Jamey Johnson, Merle Haggard, Cody Jinks, The Steel Woods, Tyler Childers, and Chris Stapleton, Cody's voice and guitar sport a road-tested sound.
