Cooking For Cancer

  • 1219 Research Boulevard Hummelstown, PA, 17036 (map)

Join us for an evening of fun, food and philanthropy as we raise money to support The CARE Center at the Penn State Cancer Institute.

The evening boasts delicious food tastings freshly prepared by local community leaders and chefs, plus live entertainment provided by the jazz duo Steve Rudolph and Hassan Shakur.

Attendees will hear inspiring messages from keynote speakers, Michelle Buck, chairman and CEO of The Hershey Company, and Deborah Berini, president of Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

Our masters of ceremony for the event are ABC27's evening news anchors Valerie Pritchett and Alicia Richards.

Tickets are $50 per person. Cash bar available.

All proceeds raised from the event go to support The Cancer Assistance & Resource Education (CARE) Center located on the campus of Hershey Medical Center. The CARE Center assists cancer patients throughout their treatment journey, providing wholistic care for the person ranging from emotional support to spiritual guidance to education. The Center also helps to connect the patient to the resources they and their families need. Such whole-person care services are shown to help reduce stress, manage side effects and enhance recovery.
