Live in the Listening Room, we’ll have Clyde Wrenn & Rebecca Gray!
In 2017, Rebecca Gray lit a strange oil lantern she discovered while exploring the ruins of her ancestral home. She was there to play the piece she had composed for one purpose: to attract and destroy the marauding warlocks responsible for annihilating the village. But the piece had the unintended effect of summoning another traveler of space and time. Singer-songwriter Clyde Wrenn joined Rebecca amidst the ashes, ghosts and broken buildings. Their collaboration continues.
The music the duo creates is at once like a Martian cattle drive and a Bollywood rendering of a Lowcountry boil. Rebecca is a native Pennsylvanian. Clyde spent about one half of his life in Virginia, the other in Los Angeles. A number of years ago, after The Reckoning of 1000 Shadows, he woke up in a cold sweat somewhere near Hershey, PA. For reasons unknowable even to him, he is still there.
